Connect the nrgSMART controller to your network management system via SNMP to collect real-time data at the circuit level.
nrgSMART allows you to monitor your energy usage at the circuit level providing a better understanding of your power use without sending a tech to a site to clamp each fuse panel. Get actionable real-time and historical data at the circuit level to establish granularity on power consumption and use for event analysis, SLA enforcements, planning, trending and engineering.
Did we mention the nrgBDFB provides the highest-capacity at 8,000A for the typical footprint? Power up to four Juniper MX2020’s with a single nrgBDFB! The circuit level monitoring nrgSMART provides allows for detailed threshold analysis, and if configured for redundancy, will ensure load balancing and the equipment is operating within required breaker thresholds.
nrgSMART welcomes a new member to its DC power distribution family. Amphenol Telect developed the BDFB-XLW in response to large-scale facilities and data centers where longer cable runs are required. Measuring in at 32"L x 30"W x 84"H, the product features a larger opening on top to easily fit 64 750kcmil cables. The side panels are removable and creates more space to access terminals. The larger footprint lines up cleanly in a row of data-center racks.
The Amphenol Telect nrgBDFB-XLW 1000A Battery Distribution Fuse Bay includes up to eight panels per bay with each panel supporting a single feed with a maximum input rating of 1000A. Each panel contains 20 circuit positions for either bullet-style breakers or TFD fuse holders and features - 48V operating voltage to fit in legacy and next-generation network applications with advanced circuit-level monitoring.

Amphenol Telect’s nrgCONTROL-BT coordinates and collects data for up to 30 nrgSMART enabled PDUs. Panels are connected over a simple daisy chain connection. Only one IP address is required for all attached PDU panels to communicate circuit level current, voltage, temperature, alarm, and circuit threshold data. Data for all attached panels is accessed locally through the LCD screen or through the on-board configuration wizard. Data service including detailed analytic visualization is available through Telect’s hosted data service or can be interfaced to existing BMS or NMS systems over SNMP.
