Optical Splitter Connectivity
Overview
Expand the capability of a traditional ODF and the flexibility of your network with Telect’s bulkhead-style optical splitter bay. This design allows circuit sampling of 5%, 10%, and 20% outputs with total front access cross-connect ports to simplify moves and maintenance. Telect panels offer full modularity and enable scalable growth, reducing up-front capital expense.
Application
Telect’s optical splitter bay provides 576 SC/UPC terminations by utilizing 96-port panels and high-density quad splitter modules. Our splitter bay uses off-the-shelf components to cost-effectively support any high-density application.

- Seismic rated unequal flange racks and large interbay spacer panels give you the confidence you need while growing your high-density optical lineups.
- Utilizing an industry-standard footprint, Telect bulkhead-style panels deliver patch, splice, combination patch and splice, circuit access splitters or WDM functionality--all in one chassis.
- Enhancing cable management and supporting minimum bend radius protection, Telect’s patented duct extender post and gate system allows simple cable installation and routing even in the most congested sites. Duct capacity extenders provide seamless transitions from any overhead trough system.

Choose from 19” or 23” in 7-foot network bay configurations.

Telect duct capacity extenders integrate enhanced bend radius protection and cable management by using our patented post and gate technology. This system allows simple cable installation and routing of fiber jumpers.
