Optical Distribution Frame (ODF)
Overview
Linking your optical network into the 21st century, Telect offers a wealth of components, panels and systems to simplify any build-out. From the ground up, Telect bulkhead-style optical panels offer full modularity and allow users to “grow as you go,” reducing upfront capital expense. Telect optical panels support patch, splice, patch and splice, splitter, and WDM applications.
Application
Telect’s optical distribution frame provides 960 SC/UPC total terminations utilizing 96-fiber chassis; or 480 patch and splice terminations with on-frame splicing. Optional splitter modules simply snap-in for circuit access. Our optical distribution frame uses off-the-shelf components to cost-effectively support any high-density application.

- Seismic-rated unequal flange racks and large interbay spacer panels give you the confidence you need while growing your high density optical lineups.
- Utilizing an industry-standard footprint, Telect optical panels deliver patch, splice, patch and splice, circuit access splitters, or WDMs--all in one chassis.
- Enhancing cable management and supporting minimum bend radius protection, Telect’s patented duct extender post and gate system allows simple cable installation and routing even in the most congested sites. Duct capacity extenders provide seamless transitions from any overhead trough system.

Choose from 19” or 23” in 7-foot network bay configurations.

Bulkhead-Style Panels
Telect industry-standard bulkhead-style optical panels feature full modularity that allows users to grow into the panel, reducing upfront capital expense, while providing the flexibility to meet the changing needs of communication networks.

Duct Capacity Extenders
Telect duct capacity extenders integrate enhanced bend radius protection and cable management by using our patented post and gate technology. This system allows simple cable installation and routing of fiber jumpers.
