Telect's Extreme Density DSX-1 Bay (XD Bay) offers industry-leading density in a configurable platform that emphasizes scalability, usability and cable management. Our Systems Integration Team will work with you to deploy the DSX-1 bay solution that's ideally optimized for your application.

Basic Configurations:
Startup Bay
- Fully populated bay, with 19, 22, or 34 panels depending on bay height
- DSX Panels are 56-, 64- or 84-termination
- 20- or 40-position single-feed GMT fuse panel and horizontal ring panels included
- 128-circuit cross-aisle panel optional
- Full cable management integrated into rear of panel
Expansion Bay
- Same as startup bay, without end guard, only 1.5 in. spacer
- Unloaded bay with capacity for growth (chassis included)
- DSX panels insert simply for capacity expansion
- 20-position single-feed GMT fuse panel and horizontal ring panels included
- 128-circuit cross-aisle panel optional

The XD Bay provides great flexibility when configuring to your specific applications. Our Systems Integration team can design a complete system and deliver a turnkey solution using in-house experience and field engineers to ensure your installation is completed quickly and accurately. Considerations include:
- Rack height
- Number of circuits per panel
- Number, style and labeling of DSX panels
- Cross-aisle requirements
- Location of rear cross-connect cable management trays
- Required accessories
DSX-1 Panel Features:
At the heart of the XD Bay are high-density DSX-1 panels. Bays can be delivered full of panels, or you can add capacity panel-by-panel as needed.
- Panel dimensions: 23 in. W x 3 in. H x 12 in. D
- 56-, 60-, 64- or 84-termination DSX-1 rear cross-connect panel
- Rear connectorized female 64-pin or wire-wrap I/O
- Front and rear circuit designation area
- Optional side cards for additional front designation
- Front red flashing LEDs for cross-connect tracing
- Rear horizontal and vertical cable management
- Protected power inputs
- Chassis/signal ground terminal for each panel
