Outdoor Cabinets
The Application:
As advanced services and power extend closer to end-user customers in communications networks, service providers are faced with housing equipment such as larger and greater amp-hour batteries, rectifiers, and other elements in outside plant enclosures.
Each cabinet has a dual pair of adjustable vertical mounting rails for further field customization. Cabinets are designed to meet NEMA 4 standards. Battery bases, in accordance with GR-487, are designed for hydrogen off-gassing and NEMA 3R requirements.
Dimensions of Equipment Cabinet:
- Standard heights: 3', 4', 5', 6', 7'
- Standard depths: 30" and 42"
- Standard widths: All cabinets have reversible mounting rails that allow for the mounting of both 19" and 23" products
Dimension of Bases:
- Standard depths and widths: Same as the above cabinets
- Standard heights: Battery base 16.5"; standard base 6"
Additional Configurations:
Cabinets can be customized to fit specific requirements. Accessories, including AC power transfer switches, air conditioners, alarm contacts, convenience outlets, heat exchangers, light kits, surge protection and more.
