This video provides a simple overview detailing how to install patch modules on Telect’s high-density optical distribution frame, the ADF. It also includes installation instructions for ADF interbay storage panels, which house and manage excess cable between frames.
Patch modules, which include 72 or 96 terminations, simply snap in place onto the frame and are secured with screws. Each module features outward-rotating trays that isolate and protect patch terminations, along with providing simple access to individual ports.
The ADF interbay storage panels is also simple to install. This cable management platform slides into place in alignment with the ADF frame, providing a simple, safe routing path for fiber optic cable. Posts and spools provide bend radius management to protect each fiber.
