Not 40 days in the desert, but certainly Day 40 in the desert.
What a day. "Majestic," Wayne called it.
The team rode from Green River, Utah to Springdale, Utah, riding through the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Bryce Canyon National Park, and Zion National Park.
"I look forward to catching you around one of the turns," Wayne signed off.

(Sidenote: Colorado has more "fourteeners" (peaks over 14,000 feet in elevation) than any other state in the U.S., including Alaska. Colorado boasts more than 50 peaks over 14,000 feet!)

Ride with Telect celebrated the 30-Year Ride with customers and employees in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, during the Plano Open House on August 30, at Telect's Metals Fabrication and Systems Development Center, in Plano, Texas.

Mid-day, employees and customers joined The Ride team for a mouthwatering Texas BBQ. (Thank you, Dickey's Barbecue Pit!)

From the beginning, Wayne Williams designed the 30-Year Ride as a means to connect with customers, one-on-one, in their communities.
Months ago, Williams said, "One of the reasons we’re doing this Ride is so our customers better understand the DNA of Telect—who
we are," Williams said. "We're taking this edgy approach to connect with our customers at their location, one-on-one. As we journey on these motorcycles and visit with our customers, we can roll up our sleeves in this very intense, economic time to really listen and develop strong relationships," Williams added. |
